Your short code is licensed to you, not owned. Only link lines you're allowed to use, don't use codes to mislead people, and don't rely on the app for emergency calls.
1. Agreement
These Terms and Conditions form a contract between you and God Man Infinity Tech Limited (“we”, “us”) for your use of the iD Call app, this website and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use iD Call.
These Terms apply to iD Call and this website. If we launch other products, they may have their own terms.
2. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding contract. If you use the app for a business, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for it.
3. What the Service does
iD Call lets you reserve a short code and link one or more phone lines to it. When someone dials your code, we connect them to the line you have linked. If you change line, you can link the new one while keeping the same code, and you can keep a former line connected to your code.
The Service depends on mobile networks and telecom partners. We work to keep it reliable but cannot control those networks.
4. Your short code
- You get a licence, not ownership. A code is assigned to your account to use while you comply with these Terms. You do not own it.
- Availability. Codes are issued first come, first served and may not be available.
- Rules for codes. You must not choose or use a code to impersonate a person, business or authority, to mislead others, or that is offensive, unlawful or infringes someone's rights. We may refuse or change codes that break these rules.
- No trading. You may not sell, rent or transfer your code without our written permission.
- Reclaiming codes. If your account is closed, stays inactive for a long period we will tell you about in the app, or you break these Terms, we may release your code so others can use it.
5. Linking phone lines
- You may only link a number that you own or are authorised to use.
- We verify each line, for example by sending a code. You must not try to bypass verification or link a number belonging to someone else.
- You are responsible for everything that happens through your account, so keep your phone and login secure.
- We may unlink a line or suspend your code if we suspect fraud, misuse or that you don't control the line.
6. Former lines and call forwarding
When you move to a new line, your former line can stay connected to your code. This works only while the former line remains active with its network operator and is not blocked, suspended or reassigned. If a network recycles or cancels a number, we cannot keep it connected. Please review your linked lines from time to time and remove any you no longer use.
7. Charges
iD Call does not control the charges made by your mobile network. Calls, data and messages connected through the Service may be billed by your operator under your own plan. If we offer paid features, we will show the price before you buy, and payment will be handled through the app store or the payment method shown at the time. Unless the law says otherwise, payments are non-refundable once the feature has been provided.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, defraud, spam or mislead anyone.
- Make unsolicited bulk or automated calls through your code.
- Use the Service for anything unlawful or against telecom regulations.
- Interfere with, reverse engineer or try to break into the Service.
- Create accounts or reserve codes in bulk, or use false information.
9. Emergency calls
iD Call is not a replacement for your phone's normal calling features. Do not rely on a short code to reach emergency services. Always dial your local emergency number directly from your phone.
10. Availability and changes to the Service
We may update, improve, suspend or discontinue features, including for maintenance or because of network or legal changes. We will try to give notice of major changes where we can.
11. Intellectual property
The app, this website, the names iD Call and God Man Infinity Tech Limited, logos, design and code belong to God Man Infinity Tech Limited or our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from it.
12. Suspension and ending your account
You can stop using iD Call and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if we must do so by law, or if your use puts others or the Service at risk. When an account ends, your lines are unlinked and your code is released.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every call will connect, or that a former line will always remain reachable. These depend partly on mobile networks outside our control. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties.
14. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, God Man Infinity Tech Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data or business, including loss arising from missed, delayed or misrouted calls. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim, or if you paid nothing, to a nominal amount. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction, except where your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If the changes are significant, we will tell you in the app or by message before they apply. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms.
